A German security researcher discovered vulnerabilities in the wifi module you can buy for your Canon EOS 1D X. The camera appears relatively easy to hack after which photos from the camera can be copied and even live-view and camera controls can be controled remotely.

Slovenian photographer Bostjan Burger spend 15 years building an extensive panorama collection. Now the Slovenian government ordered him to remove them all from his website. All people, house numbers and other recognizable items to indentify people or objects most be removed from his photos.

American start-up Lytro claims to launch a revolutionary camera this year. With the camera you can capture an image without focussing. Afterwards you can focus the image on any point you want. The information the camera stores can also be used to create 3D photos.

Did you think the Leica M9 is an expensive camera? Not so much if you compare it to the Leica 0-serie that was sold in an auction house in Vienna this weekend. This special model build in 1923 exchanged owner for a solid 1.3 million euro (1.88 million dollar).
